Rotorstorm Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Rotorstorm game (“the game”), made by Leo Bear Studios (“we”, “us”), collects and how it is used. The short version: we do not ask for your name, email or any account, and we do not collect your personal information ourselves. The game shows optional rewarded ads, and the ad provider collects some device information to do that.
Information we do not collect
The game has no sign-up or login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or payment details. We do not run our own analytics or tracking servers.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress (chapters unlocked, scrap, upgrades, the pilots, parachutes and camouflage you own, and settings) is saved only on your device. It is not sent to us. Deleting the game deletes this data.
Advertising
The game offers optional rewarded ads: you choose whether to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit. Ads are provided by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource, part of Unity Technologies) and the ad networks it works with. To deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud, these providers may collect information such as:
- device type, operating system version, language and screen size
- IP address and approximate (country or region level) location derived from it
- device and app identifiers, including Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) only if you allow tracking
- how you interact with the ads you are shown
This information is handled under the providers’ own privacy policies. See Unity’s privacy policy. If the game asks whether to allow tracking, you can say no; ads will still work but will not be personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
TestFlight
If you are testing a beta version through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports, usage information and any feedback you send with us. This is covered by Apple’s privacy policy and only used to fix and improve the game.
Beta sign-ups on our website
If you sign up for a beta on leobearstudios.com, the email address you enter (and your name, if you give it) is sent to us by the form service Web3Forms, which delivers it to our inbox. We use it only to send you invites and news about the games you picked. We never sell or share it. To be taken off the list, email us and we will delete it.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by the ad providers, use the options in their privacy policies or contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
